Hints For Job Seekers #13
It's been a while since I last updated this blog. But today something happened that needed to have a hint graphic made. Someone came into the office today who'd filled out an application. He wanted to check to see if we had any openings. At the end of his visit, he pointed out to my Administrative Assistant that he drives a Mercedes. That made no impression on her because she doesn't care anything about cars. He then pointed out that he could identify that there was a Dodge Durango and Dodge Magnum in our parking lot.

ReplyDeleteI disagree. What if your car is in the shop and you need someone to drive you to pick it up? Would you prefer to ride in a Mercedes or one of the other emmployee's old pick up trucks. Obviously, that was his point.LOL Perhaps he was explaining why he needs the job--he has high payments on his car. What if that car is his home? You PR people never think these things through.LOL
